About Auburn Housing Authority
In addition to providing 354 rental units, we administer 394 Section 8 Housing Choice Vouchers.
Our mission is to promote adequate, affordable housing, economic opportunity, and a suitable living environment free from discrimination. The Auburn Housing Authority will create and maintain partnerships with its clients and appropriate community agencies in order to accomplish this mission.
Five board members are appointed by the City of Auburn’s City Manager to five-year terms. Two board members are tenant representatives who are elected to two-year terms by Housing Authority residents and program participants.
